Description

The barn and roundhouse located immediately to the south-east of Fishleigh Down Farmhouse date from the 18th century. The structure features plastered cob and rubble walls, while the roundhouse has wooden walls. It is topped with a hipped thatch roof. The barn has a rectangular plan with a central threshing floor, and the semi-octagonal roundhouse is positioned behind the left-hand end of the barn. The building is single storey and has a regular front, which includes a central cart entrance and the semi-octagonal roundhouse at the rear.
