Description

Lewer Bridge is a road bridge over the River Lew, dated 1844. The surveyors for the bridge were Luxton and Roberts. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a single span segmental arch made with dressed voussoirs. The bridge has a cambered stringcourse and a parapet, which includes a plaque that is dated 1844.
