Description

Two Crealock monuments are located in the churchyard approximately one meter east of the chancel of the Church of St. Swithun. These are two chest tombs dating from the mid and late 18th century. Each tomb is made of squared and coursed slatestone, featuring chamfered plinths and inscribed slate tops. The southern tomb commemorates James Crealock, who died in 1749, while the northern tomb commemorates William Crealock, who died in 1786, along with his family.
