Description
BERRINGTON C.P. BERRINGTON SJ 5206-5306 11/39 Pair of chest tombs - approximately one metre to west of south porch of Church of All Saints GV II Pair of chest tombs. Late C18. Grey sandstone ashlar. Western memorial: side and end panels have wide incized borders with quadrant corners, fluted pilaster strips flanking side panels and moulded cornice to flat top; to Mr. John Lockley, died 22nd February, 1792. Eastern Memorial: raised and fielded panels, and moulded cornice to flat top; inscription illegible at time of survey (March 1985).
