Description

This listing describes a pair of chest tombs located about 12 meters southwest of the south porch in the churchyard of the Church of All Saints. They date from the late 18th century and are made of limestone. Each tomb features a flat top with a moulded capping and a plain plinth at the base. There are two raised ovals on each side, separated by a fluted strip, and relief devices at the ends. The corner piers are decorated with a small pattern all over. At the time of the survey in December 1984, both tombs were in very poor condition and substantially overgrown.
