Description
Old Court Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a core dating back to the 17th century, with additions to the left from the 18th and 19th centuries. It is constructed of rubble stone and features a double Roman tile roof with brick end stacks. The oldest and main section has two storeys and an attic, with two windows: a small two-light window with a wooden lintel to the left, and a three-light stone mullion window with a square hoodmould and concrete lintel to the right. The roof level has been slightly raised at the eaves, and the outside ground level has likely been raised as well.
To the left, there is a plank door that now leads to the cellar, which was probably the original main entrance. This door has remains of a two-light stone mullion with a square hoodmould at cellar level on the right. The current main entrance, located to the left, is an 18th-century addition featuring a 20th-century door and a round-headed surround made of shells impressed into render, with a three-light casement window above. Further to the left is a single-storey 19th-century wing with one 20th-century two-light window. The main range is noted to have been registered for divine service.
