WINKLEIGH BARNSTAPLE STREET, Winkleigh SS 6308 11/146 The Follies (south) 21.2.77 GV II Cottage. Circa early C18. Plastered cob walls. Thatch roof hipped to left-hand end, gabled to right. Brick rear lateral stack. Plan: 2-room plan, right-hand room heated by fireplace in rear wall. Exterior: 2 storeys. Regular 2-window front of C20 3-light casements. Central C20 plank door under thatch hood supported on wooden posts. The left-hand end wall of the house is curved. Interior inaccessible at time of survey.
