Description
This building is a former shippon or linhay and store located approximately 15 metres southeast of Cherubeer Manor. It dates from the 18th century and features cob and rubble walls, with brick on the front of the wing. The roof is thatched, hipped to the left and gabled at the front of the wing.
The building has an L-shaped plan, with a small wing projecting from the right end, which was likely used as some form of store and may be a 19th-century addition. The main range probably originated as animal sheds with a hay loft above.
It is a single-storey structure with a loft, displaying an asymmetrical L-shaped front with the wing projecting to the right. There is a plank door to the left with a shuttered loading hatch above it, and a leaded light window to the right of a rubble buttress at the centre. The small wing to the right has a doorway on its inner face.
