Description
This building is a barn and shippon located approximately 10 metres to the east of Lower Chichacott, dating from the 18th century. It features stone rubble and cob walls, with a corrugated iron roof that is gabled at the left end and hipped at the right. The structure has a long rectangular plan, consisting of two shippons on the left with a loft above, and a single-storey barn at the right end. The left side has two storeys, while the right side is one storey, but the roof-line remains consistent. The front is asymmetrical, with doorways to the shippon located at the centre and towards the left-hand end, along with loading hatches on the first floor between these doorways and to their right. At the right-hand end, there is a tall cart entrance leading into the barn.
