Description

10 High Street is a house, probably built in the early 19th century. It has a rendered and whitewashed exterior with a gable-ended slate roof and two brick stacks, one at the eaves on the left and one at the ridge on the right. The right gable end features slate hanging.

The house is two storeys high, with the ground dropping away to the right, creating a basement. The front is symmetrical with three windows, featuring early 19th century 16-pane sash windows set in reveals. There is a central door opening with a plank door and a gabled wooden hood supported by brackets. A flight of seven stone steps leads up to the front door, with slate treads and half-round nosings, and iron railings. To the right, there is a cambered head door opening to the basement with a divided plank door, and a two-light casement window to its right.

The interior has not been inspected.
