Description

No. 105 is a cottage that is part of a row, likely built in the early 19th century and altered in the early 20th century for Christine Hamlyn. The exterior is rendered and whitewashed, topped with a gable-ended slate roof. The building has a two-storey and attic structure with a symmetrical two-window front, featuring three 16-pane sash windows set in reveals. To the right of the ground floor, there is a smaller 16-pane sash window with exposed sash boxes. The attic has two gabled dormers with fretwork bargeboards and two-light 12-pane casements. The central door opening contains a late 19th-century half-glazed door, which is sheltered by a gabled canopy with a fretwork bargeboard and supported by thin wooden posts. The forecourt is enclosed by a rubble wall. The interior has not been seen.
