Description

The Methodist Chapel behind the New Inn is an early to mid-19th century building. It features rendered and whitewashed stone walls and a gabled slate roof, with a gabled porch. The chapel has a rectangular plan and includes a throughway under the left end of the structure. The exterior is quite plain, showcasing a sash window with small panes and glazing bars on the left side, along with three additional 8-pane casements on the north and south walls. The porch and entrance are located at the north-west end, with paired 20th-century ribbed outer doors. Inside, the chapel contains early to mid-19th century pews, a gallery, and a dias at the east end.
