Description

The gateway adjacent to Hobby Lodge is a mid-19th century structure made of rubble stone and freestone. It features a pair of large square central piers with freestone dressings and octagonal caps, which originally had bases for finials that are now missing. Low rubble quadrant walls extend out to low rubble end piers. In the center, there are ornamental wooden gates from the 20th century designed in a 19th-century style.
