Description

PETROCKSTOWE SS 51 SW 5/43 Foxhill - - II House. C18. Rendered cob and rubble walls. Gable-ended thatch roof. Rendered brick stack at right gable-end, small brick shaft at left end. Plan: 2-room plan possibly with central entrance passage. Originally only larger right-hand room is likely to have been heated. Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 2-window front - only 1 window to 1st floor - of early C20 2 and 3-light casements in small openings. Gabled C20 porch with wood shingle roof to left of centre with stable type door. Interior: inaccessible at time of survey but may be fairly unaltered and contain original joinery.
