Description
This linhay, located about 40 meters north of Great Fulford House, dates from the late 17th century and features a tiled roof that was added in the 19th or 20th century. It is constructed from cob on stone rubble, with gabled ends. The structure has 10 bays, providing fodder storage above open-fronted stalls that can be used for storage or shelter. It stands two storeys high, although the loft is incomplete at the left end and is supported by plain timber posts. Inside, there are pegged collar rafter roof trusses from the late 17th century, with some timber replacements at the left end. This linhay is part of a group that includes Great Fulford House and the stable block.
