Description

This milestone, dating from the late 18th century, is located approximately 375 metres north-west of Stover Bridge. It is a small granite monolith with a rectangular shape and a segmental head. The front of the milestone is inscribed with the distances to Newton (3 miles), Bovey (2.60 miles), and Moreton (9.20 miles).
