Description
This ice house, located about 90 metres southeast of the Church of St Thomas, is possibly from the 18th century and is situated near the site of Old Mamhead House, which was north of the church. It is built of brick on stone rubble footings. The structure is round in shape, featuring a deep cylindrical shaft topped with a conical brick roof. The entrance is flanked by brick walls.
