Description

This is a pair of chest tombs located immediately south-east of the chancel of the Church of St Thomas. They date from the early and late 19th century. The southern tomb is a low coped chest that includes surrounding railings topped with spear finials and columnar corner standards with finials. The inscription commemorates John Harding, who died in 1862. The northern tomb is likely an early 19th-century chest featuring corner pilasters and a moulded lid, although its inscription is illegible.
