GV II

Small house. Probably late C17/C18, C20 modernization. Colourwashed and plastered, probably cob and stone rubble; thatched roof, half-hipped at right end, gabled at left end; projecting left end stack. Plan: Single depth 2 room plan, the larger heated room to the left has a gable end stack, the smaller right hand room appears to have been unheated, the rear left leant-to probably a C19 or C20 addition. Details of plan unclear on survey as access to interior unobtainable. Exterior: 2 storeys. Asymmetrical 3 window front with a C20 porch and front door. C20 timber casements with glazing bars. Interior: Not inspected. Forms a thatched pair with Higher Gabwell Cottage.
