Description
Polruan and the house adjoining at the west are two connected houses, likely built in the early 19th century. They are rendered, probably made of stone and cob, with end stacks that have brick shafts. The layout is single depth, with Polruan featuring a front door on the right side and likely two rooms inside. The adjoining house on the right has its front door on the right return and probably contains one room.
The exterior is two storeys high with an asymmetrical window arrangement of two to one, featuring regular fenestration. Polruan has a 19th-century plank front door, and there are early 19th-century 16-pane sash windows on the left and right, with similar sashes in the two centre windows on the first floor. The right-hand house has a gabled porch on its right return.
The interior has not been inspected. The buildings have group value with the Old Estate Office to the left and thatched houses across the road.
