Description

Beech Park is a detached house built in the early 19th century, featuring painted stucco and a hipped slate roof with wide eaves and moulded stacks. It has two left-of-centre ridge stacks and returns, with a double-depth plan that includes a rear wing, which is now a separate dwelling known as Beech Cottage on Foxwell Lane. The house is designed in a picturesque Tudor Gothic style and stands two storeys tall with a four-window range. Notable exterior details include rusticated quoins and architraves around the pointed-arched windows. The upper windows have margin panes and intersecting tracery, with two-light casements on the first floor and sashes on the ground floor. A bay window on the left of centre projects forward and is gabled, featuring similar windows. A 20th-century door is located in the left return, while a pointed-arched six-panel door is situated to the right of the projecting bay. The interior has not been inspected.
