Road bridge over River Dart, part of which is in Staverton CP, South Hams District. Said to be C16/C17 (previous list description) with later rebuildings. Local grey limestone rubble. Plan: 4-span bridge plus flood arch. Segmental arches with cutwaters and plain parapet, the parapet of the 3 left-hand spans slightly projecting. Historical note: the Austyn family are mentioned in early C16 and later documentation as corn millers at Kilbury (Knowling). (Knowling E: Private archive: 1991-).
