Description
These gate piers and surrounding garden wall date from around the early 18th century. They are constructed from coursed slatestone rubble, with the piers being squared. The square piers have a chamfered plinth and two stringcourses topped with a moulded cornice, culminating in a ball finial on a tapering neck. The low garden wall also has a chamfered plinth, indicating the two elements were originally designed together.
