Description
The remains of a former manor house located to the east of Norden date back to the 17th century, with some alterations and additions. The structure is two storeys high and features six sash windows with glazing bars and exposed frames on the first floor. It is built from local stone and has an old slate roof, along with a massive shouldered chimney. The entrance includes a wide door with a glazed upper half and an added wooden porch. The lower half of the walls is in ruins, made of stone and part cob, and the building has a rectangular plan with a cross-wall. Some walls still rise to approximately 10 feet, but no distinctive features are currently visible.
