Description

Phoenix Place is a mid-19th century terrace of three buildings, located on Baptist Lane. The buildings are stuccoed and have slate hipped roofs. They comprise two storeys and feature eight windows, two of which are blind. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars, and the entrances have glazed and panelled doors. Number 1 has a wooden lattice porch with a semi-circular head. Original wrought iron railings are present in front, incorporating arrow-headed shafts and ornate stanchions. The group value of the terrace lies in its cohesive architectural style and well-preserved details.
