Description
The gate piers and adjoining wall at Bowringsleigh date from the late 17th century or early 18th century. They are constructed from coursed squared slatestone. The square piers feature a moulded plinth, an ogee cornice, and two decreasing courses above, topped with a shaped neck and ball finial. A short section of wall on either side continues the plinth along its length.
