Description
Abham Cottage is a detached house dating from the 17th century. It is constructed of stone rubble with a roughcast front wall and features a steeply pitched Welsh slate roof with gabled ends. The building has two storeys and a four-window range, with 20th-century two-light casements that include glazing bars. The doorway is located to the left of centre and has a 20th-century glazed door along with a 20th-century porch supported by columns. There are rendered chimney stacks at the gable ends, and a stack on the rear wall heats the hall. Inside, there is a possible cross passage. The hall contains a fireplace on the rear wall, featuring a cambered and chamfered bressummer, and a ceiling beam with chamfers and carved stops at one end.
