Description
Tidwell Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1840. It is constructed of slate rubble with granite quoins and red brick window openings, and it was originally stuccoed. The house features a slate roof with gabled ends and very high eaves. It has two storeys and an attic, with a total of three bays. The windows include two-light cross-mullion-transom casements with glazing bars, while the ground floor windows have three lights. The central entrance has a panelled door topped by a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars, and there is a later added glazed porch. The house also has three slate-hung hipped dormers and rendered chimney stacks at the gable ends.
