The former barn of Shindle Mill, located west of Millhouse, dates from the 18th century and has been altered for use as a residence. It features inserted windows with flat cement architraves. The barn, along with Shindle Mill and the outbuildings to the south, forms a group of buildings that contribute to the landscape value of the area.
