Farmhouse. Early C19 with circa early C20 extension. Dressed slate walls, the south-west side slate-hung. Slate hipped roof with projecting eaves. Single depth plan with service wing at rear. 2 storeys. 3 bays. Sash windows with glazing bars in openings with dressed flat arches and painted stone cills. Central Doric doorcase with fluted pilasters open pediment with semi-circular fanlight with intersecting glazing bars, fielded panel reveals and fielded panel door. Early C19 lower 2-storey slate-hung wing at rear. Early C20 extension with 2-storeyed canted bay projecting at right hand with casement windows. A manor at Venn was mentioned in Domesday Book.
