Description
Stures Court is a house dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century, with a 20th-century addition. It has plastered stone rubble walls and a gable-ended thatch roof. There are two stone rubble gable end stacks, with the taller one on the left and the right-hand one projecting. The house was originally built with a two-room plan, both rooms being heated, and has had rear additions made in the 20th century.
The exterior is two storeys high and features a regular three-window front with 20th-century two-light casements in small openings, except for a larger window to the left on the ground floor. There is a central lean-to porch from the 19th century, which has a 20th-century stable-type door. The interior was inaccessible during the survey but may still contain original features such as fireplaces and ceiling beams.
