Description

This is a cottage located at 37 Market Street in Yealmpton, dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble and features a thatched roof with gabled and hipped ends. The building has two storeys and a two-window range. The ground floor includes a 19th-century two-light casement window with glazing bars, while there are small 20th-century windows at the centre of the first floor. A coupled doorway is situated at the centre, sheltered by a 19th-century slated porch. The cottage also has end chimney stacks.
