Description

No. 35 Fore Street is a building dating from around 1824-1825, constructed as one of a pair with No. 37. It stands three storeys tall and features two window bays. The roof is made of Welsh slate, and the front is rendered with timber framing. The building has an entablature with a fluted frieze and a dentil cornice, although part of the cornice is obscured by a blocked gutter. Splayed three-light bay windows with sash frames extend through the first and second floors. The ground floor has modern shop fronts. This building is included for its group value.
