Description
No. 6 Cook Row is a building that likely dates from the early 19th century and may have originally been designed as a pair with No. 2. The building features rendered walls and a slate roof, with a parapet on the elevation facing Cook Row and rendered stacks. It stands three storeys tall. The Cook Row elevation includes a central modern door and two canted bay windows that create a shop front, topped with a combined moulded canopy, probably from the 19th century. On the first and second floors, there are two double-hung sash windows with vertical glazing bars. The side elevation has one modern casement window and one double-hung sash window with glazing bars on the ground floor, while the first and second floors each have two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars.
