Description
Canford Crafts and Williams and Farmer is an early 19th-century building located at the corner of Cook Row and High Street. It features brick walls and a slate roof with wide bracketed eaves. The building stands three storeys tall, with the facade divided into bays by slightly projecting brick pilasters.
On the ground floor facing Cook Row, there is a modern shop window at the corner and a flush door set in a round-headed opening, which is topped with an ornamental fanlight. Additionally, there is one double-hung sash window. The first and second floors each have two double-hung sash windows with glazing bars.
The elevation facing High Street has modern shop fronts on the ground floor, which include a continuous fascia and capping mould. The first and second floors each feature three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, and there is a projecting keystone above the centre window on the first floor. The building also includes Nos. 16 and 18 High Street.
