Description
Numbers 2 and 3 Sandringham are a pair of semi-detached cottages dating to around 1830, built of stucco. Number 2 has a two-window front. A rectangular projection at ground floor on the left has pilasters framing a two-light sash window with horizontal glazing bars and double-panelled doors with an overlight. The pilasters support a dentil entablature topped by the inswept base of the first-floor bay window, featuring horizontal glazing bars and a cornice. To the right, there's a 20th-century glazed window at ground floor and a sash with horizontal glazing to the first floor. A projecting cornice sits below the parapet. Number 3 has a three-window front, with the upper window above the entrance being blind. A canted two-light bay window with horizontal glazing bars and a dentil entablature extends across the recessed entrance, which is flanked by pilasters. The entrance features panelled reveals, a panelled door, and an overlight. A similar canted bay window is positioned above, with corresponding glazing and cornice. To the right are sash windows with similar glazing on both floors. A projecting cornice is present below the parapet. The interior was not inspected. Numbers 2 and 3 Sandringham, along with Nos 1-3 Bath Place, Runnymede, and The Baths House in Runnacleave Road, form a group of buildings of group value.
