Description

Northfield House is a semi-detached house built around 1830. It features a stucco exterior and a hipped slate roof, rising to three storeys with three windows. The central entrance has a Tuscan porch that includes a 20th-century glazed door with an overlight. Above the porch, there is a well-crafted cast-iron balcony at the first-floor level. On either side of the entrance, there are later two-storey canted bays with sash windows that have four horizontally set panes. The second and third floors have central 12-pane hornless sash windows, while the third-floor sashes above the bays are tripartite. The interior has not been inspected. Northfield House and No. 3 Northfield Road form a group.
