Description

58 Castle Hill Road is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is finished in stucco and features a parapet and a slate roof. The structure has three storeys and a semi-basement, with a single window width. A prominent feature is the three-storey central bow window, which has three-light sashes with intact glazing bars. To the right, there is a pedimented porch supported by Tuscan columns, leading to a pilastered doorway that includes panelled reveals, a semi-circular fanlight, and a panelled door. This entrance is accessed by a flight of 11 stone steps with iron handrails. The south side of the building has been covered with corrugated asbestos. This property is part of a group with Nos 46 to (even).
