Description
27 Croft Road is a building dating from around 1810. It is constructed of stuccoed brick that has been painted. The building features a parapet and cornice, and has a slate hipped roof. It stands three storeys tall with a basement and includes string courses.
On the first floor, there is a French window with intact glazing bars, leading to a balcony that has an ogee-shaped roof, tapered corner columns, and an ornate iron balustrade. The second floor has two sash windows that do not have glazing bars. The ground floor features a central sash window without glazing bars, a narrow door with a moulded architrave, and a panelled door with a rectangular fanlight that has glazing bars. The property also includes area railings with arrow-head shafts and turned newels topped with iron finials.
