Description

The double privy located 15 metres west of Coombe Farmhouse dates from the 19th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a gable-fronted slate roof adorned with moulded ridge tiles. The structure is small and nearly square in shape. It has a timber doorframe that holds a four-panelled door. Inside, the walls are plastered, and there is a small oblong niche in the right side wall. The privy contains a wooden double lavatory seat and casing. It is positioned against a large farm shelter shed and spans a small, fast-flowing rivulet.
