Description
This building is a former privy, now serving as an outhouse, located about 20 metres east of Priory Farmhouse. It dates from the late 17th century and has some alterations from the 19th century. The structure is built of rubble and features a pyramidal stone slate roof that has been patched with corrugated iron. It has a square plan, with an entrance in the west wall that includes a wooden architrave and a six-panelled door. There is a wooden cross mullioned window in the south wall. Inside, only the southern half is accessible, which is divided by 19th-century match-boarding, and it contains two wooden lavatory seats against the east wall.
