Description

The railings on the north side of Rock Park, located on New Road in Barnstaple, were likely constructed in 1879. They are made of cast iron and are set on a chamfered concrete plinth. The design features square section verticals topped with fleur-de-lis finials. Rock Park itself was opened in 1879 and was laid out by R.D. Gould.
