Description

Medina is a house located on Bull Hill in Pilton, Barnstaple, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It features solid rendered walls and a tiled roof, with red brick chimneys on each end wall. The house is two storeys high and has a four-window range, with the fourth window located in a lean-to at the right-hand end, angled back from the main building. The centre of the façade has a round-arched doorway with a recessed surround, leading to a recessed, four-panelled door with glazed upper panels. On either side of the door are two wide windows with six-paned sash frames that include margin-panes. The upper-storey windows have eight-paned sashes, except for those in the lean-to, which are six-paned. The interior has not been inspected. Medina is adjacent to Bull House on Bull Hill.
