Description

The railings to the south of the churchyard path at St Mary's Church in Pilton, Barnstaple, date from the late 19th century to early 20th century. They are made of stone rubble and cast iron. The railings run along the south side of the path that leads to the Church of St Mary, which is located behind Feoffees Cottages. The low stone rubble walls are topped with brick coping. The railings feature square-section verticals with simple spike finials and S-shaped brackets. These railings are included for their group value.
