Description
Nos. 3 and 5 Church Road are a pair of early 19th-century houses that are part of a row. They are constructed of roughcast cob with stone footings and feature a gabled end slate roof. The houses have axial and end stacks with brick shafts and are two storeys tall. The front of both houses has three-window ranges, with 16-pane hornless sash windows throughout. To the left of the doorway, there are two ground-floor windows under a canopy supported by shaped brackets. No. 5 is larger and has a symmetrical doorway with pilasters and panelled reveals beneath a moulded canopy with console brackets, along with a panelled door. The rear of the houses has 20th-century fenestration, and No. 3 has a pantiled extension.
