Description

SILVERTON CHURCH ROAD, Silverton SS 90 SE 7/224 Nos 3 and 5 - GV II A pair of houses forming part of a row. Early C19. Roughcast cob with stone footings. Gabled end slate roof. Axial and end stacks, brick shafts. 2-storeys. Front: both with 3-window ranges; 16-pane hornless sash windows throughout, 2 ground- floor windows to the left of doorway under canopy on shaped brackets. No. 5, is larger, symmetrical doorway with pilasters and panelled reveals under moulded canopy with console brackets; panelled door. C20 fenestration to rear, and a pantiled extension to No. 3.
