Description

South Cottage is a house adjoining, and potentially originally part of, No. 2 Fore Street in Silverton. It may incorporate elements from the 16th or 17th century. The walls are plastered cob with stone footings, and the roof is thatched with gabled ends. The house is two storeys high. The front of the house has a three-window range, featuring 19th and 20th-century casement windows. A lateral stack is located inside the front of the house, with a brick chimney shaft. The interior has not been inspected.
