Description
The Three Tuns Public House is a public house located on Exeter Road in Silverton, possibly dating from the 17th or 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast cob with stone footings and features a hipped roof that is thatched only at the front. The original layout has been significantly altered due to remodelling for ground-floor bars. The building stands two storeys high and has a front elevation with four windows. On the first floor, there are two casement windows and two hornless sash windows, each with eight panes above and sixteen below. The ground floor features a two-light casement window and two hornless windows, one with twenty panes and the other with five panes above and ten below. The entrance has a doorway with panelled reveals and a panelled door.
