Description
Beggars Roost is a house, likely dating from the 18th century and refurbished in the late 19th century. It is built of plastered cob or rubble, including some brickwork, with a rubble and brick stack and a thatched roof. The house faces north-east and has an irregular three-room plan, with the left (south-east) end projecting forward. It is two storeys in height. The right-hand side of the house has tall, late 19th-century casement windows with glazing bars. The roof adjoins the neighbouring buildings at both ends. The interior has not been inspected.
