4 cottages, now 2. Mid C19. Plastered cob on rubble footings; cob or rubble stacks with brick tops; wheat reed thatched roof. Pair of adjoining 2-room cottages, each with central axial stack hipped each end formerly each stack shared by single room cottages. 2 storeys. Overall 8-window front of C20 wooden and steel casements. Door to Pinewood Cottage (on left side) at left end and door to Peppercorn Cottage (right) right of centre; both have C20 glass-sided porches. Originally each cottage had a central door and 2-window front. Plain carpentry detail inside. Included for group value.
