Description

Court Cottage is a 19th-century cottage constructed from plastered cob and rubble, featuring a brick and rubble stack and a thatched roof. The cottage has a gable-ended design with a single room facing west and a double depth plan, with the stack projecting from the right (south) end. The front has one window, which consists of 20th-century casements with glazing bars, and a plant door to the right that is topped with a 20th-century thatched monopitch hood. The interior showcases plain carpentry details. This cottage was added to the southern end of Clovelly Cottage. An adjoining cobbled path on the west side, which is raised into long shallow steps, is also included for its group value.
